Graham Colbourne
Graham has been in full time Gestalt practice since 1996 doing therapy with individuals, couples and groups. He is a supervisor and trainer of counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors and has also worked in the field of management development. He has served on the GPTI Ethics Committee for some years, currently as chair, and contributes as a member of the Training Standards Committee. He worked for many years in Community Development, Youth Work and Community Education, drawing on group work, counselling, field theory, existentialism, and various models of learning and social/community change. Creativity and spirituality are important to him, practised through music and dance. Graham is a keen cyclist and father to a grown-up son.
Dr Elizabeth Cooksey
Elizabeth originally qualified and worked as a research scientist in higher education and the NHS, then trained in the 1980s as a Gestalt psychotherapist with Gestalt Training Services. She has since worked in a variety of capacities in social work, primary care and for Edinburgh City Council, and also ran the University of Edinburgh Staff Counselling Service for several years. She now has a private practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer.
Kirsteen Greenholm
Kirsteen has a background as a practitioner and manager in the addictions and mental health fields, in both the voluntary and statutory sectors. She trained in Gestalt psychotherapy at Edinburgh Gestalt Institute and now works in private practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor, trainer and consultant. Her first degree is in English Literature and Philosophy, and she weaves her interest in metaphor and images into her work and everyday life. Connecting with nature and attending to body process are particularly important to her.
Helen Kennedy
Helen has been in private practice since 1985, working as a psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer. She originally qualified as a teacher and sees her current work as a development of her deep interest in education. Helen has trained widely in counselling and psychotherapy. She has a particular interest in creating community and has been involved for 27 years in a community network in Scotland committed to enhancing creative, spiritual and psychological growth.
Randi Kvinge
Randi initially qualified and worked in the field of educational and social psychology as a teacher, lecturer and consultant. In the 1980s, she trained as a humanistic counsellor and as a Gestalt psychotherapist at Metanoia Institute. She later qualified at Edinburgh Gestalt Institute. Randi has a private practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer, working with individuals, couples and groups. She also works as an associate staff counsellor with OHSAS (occupational health) within NHS Tayside.
Lannie Peyton
Lannie received his degree in Psychology in 1979 at the Free University in Berlin, Germany, where he has been in private practice since 1987, working with couples, individuals and groups. He is an accredited Clinical Psychologist and works within the national health system. He trained in the 1980s with the Institut für Gestalttherapie und Gestaltpädagogik as a Gestalttherapist where he has been a trainer, supervisor and training therapist since 1995. Lannie has been a trainer with EGI since 1993 and also, since 2000, with the Berliner Institut für Gestalttherapie. From 1990 to 1994, he was chair of the German Association of Gestalt Therapy (DVG). Lannie has a strong interest in the teaching of Gestalt.
